Doctoral Programme


A General Description

The Department of Economic History offers a doctoral studies programme leading to a Degree of Doctor in Economic History after four years of full-time study. It is also possible to obtain a Licentiate Degree after having completed half of the doctoral programme. At the moment, 25 PhD students are enrolled in the programme.

Application

Admission to the Doctoral Programme 2009

The Department of Economic History at Lund University announces up to five vacancies to the doctoral programme for the fall term of 2009. The deadline for applications is set to 15 April, 2009. Final decision about admission will be taken by June 10.

A complete application should include a certificate of academic qualifications, one copy of your second cycle (masters) degree thesis, a letter of intent or a short research plan and, if possible, information concerning available financial support or other means of funding.
