Three new PhD positions

We are happy to announce three new doctoral student positions at the Department of Economic History and the Centre for Economic Demography, Lund University, Sweden, all funded by successful applications for external research grants.

Doctoral student in Economic History – Gender Equality on the Road to Modernity
The PhD position is linked to the research project Gender Equality on the Road to Modernity. France and Sweden in a Long-run Comparative Perspective, funded by Handelsbankens forskningsstiftelser. The PhD student will work in this project in collaboration with other project members.

Doctoral student in Economic History – Colonialism, living standards and inequality
The PhD position is linked to the research project Colonialism and the socio-economic impact of the indigenous people: The case of Cape Colony, funded by Handelsbankens forskningsstiftelser. The PhD student will work in this project in collaboration with other project members.

Doctoral student in Economic History – Neighborhood effects over the life course
The PhD position is linked to the research project The long reach of the neighborhood: Health, education and earnings in Landskrona, Sweden, 1904-2015, funded by Handelsbankens forskningsstiftelser. The PhD student will work in this project in collaboration with other project members and will be affiliated with the Centre for Economic Demography at LUSEM
